Biology Hat Trick

Three pupils of the IES Rosalía were the best in the Galician  "Olimpiada de Bioloxía" phase celebrated January. The pupils were: Paula Rodríguez, Alberto Rama and Fernando Castro, they were selected for the following national phase, they are going to be great!.
Congratulations to all of them, and to all those that decide to present themselves to these competitions.

Animal treatment

Where are the limits in the treatment of domestic animals borne, fed and killed to give food to the human beings?.
A subject of current debate in which we can be interested is this. We can put links to articles here as they appear in the mass media.

Science Lab

The daily routine of a scientist involves the use of basic equipment in their scientific experiments — such as microscopes, test tubes, beakers, and Bunsen burners — as well as high-tech scientific equipment and computers.

Biologists use microscopes of differing powers to see organisms and samples more closely. They are high-powered, extremely expensive, and sensitive pieces of equipment that can make even the smallest parts of a single cell seem clear.

We are looking at microscope parts, some biology apparatus and simple lab safety rules. There is no much time to go to the lab this Year, you enjoyed it last two years, and most oy you wil go again.
