Our last day!

Most of us are quite happy to enjoy holidays. It is a pity, some results were not so good as we would like it, but this is life!. We enjoyed a good time being all together this Year, and here you can see a good example of this:

O domingo 8 de xuño foi a entrega de premios ós autores de relatos co galo do centenario do Instituto Oceanográfico Español. Foi na praia de Samil e houbo carpas que mostraban o traballo que fan os científicos no Instituto. Podedes visitar a páxina do centro aquí.
Os relatos finalistas foron: Angel García e Juan Pazos de 3ºA, Lucía Viña de 3º B, Aldara García de 3ºC, e Uxía Gómez de 3ºA. A finalista en relatos cortos foi Paula Couto de 3ºA. Parabens a todos e todas.

Reprodución e sexualidad 

A sexualidade, unjas veces ligada á reproducción e outras non vainos acompañar ó longo da nos a vida, especialmente na adolescencia e idade adulta. Debemos coñecer algúns aspectos da nosa sexualidade e respetar sempre as relacións sexuais dos demais, e sempre sen ningún tipo de presión ou acoso.

Novo concurso de relatos

Co galo do I Centenario do Instituto Oceanográfico, ven de convocar un concurso de relatos curtos, e con temática relacionada coa vida mariña e a investigación no mar. The nervous system
In this unit we will learn about the coordination and control centers within the nervous and endocrine system.
The unit at the textbook starts with a description of neurons and move on to study the different parts of the human nervous system, like the brain and the spinal cord.
We will study synapse in detail. You can do a review with these simulations: Synapse.mind; Brainu  ;  Brainu2 .  And also try one more simulation, about the reflex act  (BBC).

The endocrine system
Finally, we will study the endocrine system. It also regulates our functions and it depends on nervous system signals. We will describe the different hormones and the endocrine glands which secrete them.

How to improve my grade doing the next exam

The february and second term exam will be about the following systems: respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic and excretory .
It will have:
 -  True and false general questions about all these systems
 - One question with two words to choose the correct one about the circulatory system
 -  Multiple choice questions about all these systems
 - Label figures with names of : blood, the heart  and  the circulatory system.
