The nervous system
In this unit we will learn about the coordination and control centers within the nervous and endocrine system.
The unit at the textbook starts with a description of neurons and move on to study the different parts of the human nervous system, like the brain and the spinal cord.
We will study synapse in detail. You can do a review with these simulations: Synapse.mind; Brainu  ;  Brainu2 .  And also try one more simulation, about the reflex act  (BBC).

The endocrine system
Finally, we will study the endocrine system. It also regulates our functions and it depends on nervous system signals. We will describe the different hormones and the endocrine glands which secrete them.

How to improve my grade doing the next exam

The february and second term exam will be about the following systems: respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic and excretory .
It will have:
 -  True and false general questions about all these systems
 - One question with two words to choose the correct one about the circulatory system
 -  Multiple choice questions about all these systems
 - Label figures with names of : blood, the heart  and  the circulatory system.

Unit 4 The circulatory and excretory systems
